Help locked out

ok so my 13yr old is locked out of her phone
she did not write down the gmail account or password she set up when she got the phone so now it is asking for it and can not log in

so i tried a reset of the phone by holding the vol- and the power button i get the hboot then i go to fastboot and reset phone but it wont clear the phone or im doing it wrong

Pull out the battery and boot it back up.

Ok..usually when you hit that screen you can hit the home button and it will take you into a recovery. There should be an option to (hard) reset the phone. Mind you all data will be lost.
Navigate to the reset option with the volume rockers (keys).

ok when i select recovery the screen goes blk with the pic of a phone with a red triangle

so i do a battery pull and then i selected reset phone and it goes right back to my original problem

When you try the option from before:

Home+Menu+Power simultaneously

You should have four options:
Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock

Are you seeing all four of these
If so Clear Storage would be the phone to choose.

fastboot, simlock, recovery



no clear storage
