I have a HTC One S that I am thinking of giving to my friends daughter. they don't want her to be able to use data though so I need a way to permanently turn off data. I looked in the play Store and I haven't really seen any apps that will let you turn it off and lock the data so it can be turned back on. the only reason I want to give her this phone is because I don't need it anymore and I don't want to buy out the contract it would be cheaper just to let her finish it off. so if anybody has any knowledge of how to do this I would really appreciate it

Are APN settings locked on the phone? If not, just mess up the APN and the phone wont be able to use data :thumbup:
