I was on ma1 when I did it, I'm going to restore back to the way it was and try one more time. I'm assuming rooting should be in that process list also by the way
So I restored back to stock ics, rerooted and put in a custom recovery (twrp), then I went up and installed the jb update to ma1 and it booted once. I then used goomanager to reboot to recovery to see if I was still rooted and I got the yellow triangle again saying "Secure fail: Kernel". So I'm kind of stuck now.. what should I do?
You cant use recovery on JB MA1 ( thats whats giving u the lockup) the locked BL chwcks recovery and its not signed. I will post a Lokid version of twrp 2.6 here in a few minutes.
So from ics I should take the official update to ma1, root and add loki'd recovery and then use the kernel? Thanks for the help, I'm used to everything being a lot easier on my nexus 7 lol.
