Longtime iPhone user here

Hey folks,

I'm a longtime iPhone user that has just made the switch to Android. Had the Telus Galaxy S2 now for 2 days and, man, this thing is totally different. Some things are good; some things are bad; some are just 'different'.

Nice forums you have here. In every Android-related question I've Google'd this is the first link that comes up.

I'm in IT, and I'm looking forward to rooting my phone. Seeing what I can do with some of the ROM's floating around.

I also like long walks on the beach, stamp collecting, and eating fine artisanal cheeses by a fire.

I'm thinking this is the area for your S2 and Telus but be certain before attempting any root procedures.
