Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum, but came here looking for 4-5 new or used Moto Droids. I work for a company that has been using WM phones for the last several years so that we could access our BCM contacts list. We also live in an area that is served only by Verizon at this time. All of my colleagues upgraded to Imagios when their contracts came due a few months ago except me. My intention was to determine whether it was possible to sync the necessary info to the contact lists through different third party software (i.e. companionlink).

What I found was that I loved my Droid. Great phone, very stable, hugely customizable, and new functionality was being added all the time. Verizon won't do anything for us, as we're several months from the time that we originally purchased these phones. That said, I think the move to Android is obvious and necessary. The WM phones are not cutting it.

So if anybody has a Droid or two or has a good source, please let me know.

Thanks,

Seth

I've got two like new (less than a month old). Both shipped for $575?

One is rooted, the other comes with a Seidio case in black. (i can unroot if needed)

Hey Dion,

Let me talk to my business partners and I'll let you know. Do you have any pictures that you can send? What ROM are you running on your rooted droid?

Thanks,

Seth

I think diolarson is.... not a legitimate seller.... he's claiming to have 2 EVO's for sale... then this??

This is a cool story, but I'm not buying it.

This is a cool story, but I'm not buying it.

He probably was at Google I/O where they handed out EVO's for free.
He also is probably a verizon customer and plans on buying an incredible with the money he gets from the EVO's and Droids.

Just my guess.

Sorry about that. Just got off got from the airport.

My friend and I both attended Google I/O. We are both AT&T users with Nexus One's so we have no need for a Moto Droid or HTC Evo (both were given free to attendees).

Anyways, ipadl, what would you like pictures of? The rooted phone is running BuglessBeast 1.0 at the moment, but I'd be willing to flash another ROM if you'd like.

Update: the rooted Droid has been sold. The unrooted one is still available. $265 shipped if you're interested.

Hey dion,

I'm still in the process of getting this approved, but I'll tell you this. Verizon has a new refurb program where you can get a Droid for $290 with a 1 year warranty. I'm not trying to low ball, but what's the lowest you'd take? Feel free to PM me. One of my partners is hot to trot and may be interested. He is looking to move and would be willing to pay with his own money instead of waiting for the company to approve the funds.

Thanks,

Seth
