Would an app that costs $3.57 break the bank then?

Well they've sent me more chances to send my opinion lately and the rewards keep getting higher.

I want an app that let's me point my phone at the night sky and identify the limited numbers of stars and planets I can see from my city. So like point, shoot, process, check your gallery and the names of the lights are there.

I use Sky Map but I think it's real time and no capture abilities. It is fairly accurate and will show names of what you are seeing.

OT: is it in the play store @olbriar? Sounds familiar. Does it use the camera?

No. It uses your position on earth to calculate what you would see if you were taking a picture of the sky. You can look through the earth to see the sky on the other side. Objects in the sky show their names be it planet, star, or constellation. It is a good app to use if you look into the sky and wonder what you are looking at. There is no capture mode.
And yes, it is available in the play store.

I tried that. Not what I wanted. Cool but not for me.
