    Hi

I'm looking for a good, clean and simple IM client.

    Need these options

    • support for yahoo IM
    • separation of conversations, not all on one long list (tabs, screens etc.)
    • simple display no crazy balloons etc
    • messages NOT counted as SMS by T-Mobile. The yahoo IM client app when I used it on my old BB phone would be counted as SMS messages or some version of in network messages and was getting charged.
    • free is nice but can be paid as well
    • small resource footprint as I need it running in background
    • showing new messages indicator on the locked screen would be nice
    Thanks for any suggestions

    Darius

It's on Android, haven't tried it, but we used Trillian on daughter's computer. She was into chatting and it could do a few chats - Yahoo was one.
