I'm shopping both T-mobile approved, and overseas options. For the overseas options, what should I be looking for as far as frequencies goes for T-mobiles 3g and 4g (ish) phones?

If anybody has some suggestions on good phones that can be had for reasonable amounts, let me know.

    AWS 1700/2100 (different from normal 3G 2100)

    900 / 2100

However, T-Mobile is refarming their GSM 1900 to 3G so eventually 3G 850/900/1900/2100 quad-band phones should work with T-Mobile 3G.

What's your budget? At the lower end of the scale, the Samsung Exhibit II 4G is a very good phone for its price ($200 on prepaid). I wouldn't really recommend the LG Optimus T and the other sub-$150 phones.

I don't really have a budget. I can justify spending $600 for the right phone, but less is better which is why I'm checking out other models not found in the US market.
