Looking For An App (Or A Way To get This To Work)

I currentlt lock my phone using the connect-the-dots method. But I noticed that if anyone does find my phone, the only thing they can currently do, is use it to make an emergency call. They have no way to contact someone I know, to try and get me my phone back. Is there an app that will allow me to set up a certain number of contacts on my phone that they could call, to try and locate me?

I found a phone on the ground last year, and called one of the person's contacts to get them their phone back (there are a few good samaritans out there still), but currently, if someone found my phone, that could not get it back to me. I know calling it would work, but I'm looking for something a little proactive.

I use an app called Contact Owner (free from Android Market). It doesn't allow a finder to call you but it lets you show your contact details on the lock screen.

I don't believe Seekdroid puts a widget or box on the screen unless you do it from their website. And even then, it is only until you find your phone. So, if I were in a car accident and couldn't move, how could I log into the website to display such a message.

The OP was talking about third parties being able to call him from his phone so he could find it. At least thats what I got out of it.

Nothing in there about being in a car accident.

As far as a widget on the lock screen goes though. WidgetLocker Lockscreen allows you to put shortcuts and widgets on the lockscreen. You could put an emergency number shortcut on the lockscreen that someone could just press and call. Home, Office, whatever floats your boat.
But as far as locating your device goes SeekDroid is awesome. I've only had it a few weeks and they just keep adding new features to it.
