I often need to switch off WI-Fi and Location services and turn on mobile services. Then I need to be able to switch back to the original settings. Anyone know of an app that will allow me to do this easily please

    Hi

I think you will not find an app to turn mobile data on and off unless your phone is rooted. There are plenty of ways to turn wifi and location on and off - you could just use the settings pull down, something like Power Toggles, or, at the other end of the scale use something like Macrodroid to turn them on and off depending on say, location or wifi network ( eg lack of), or time of day, screen on/off etc etc.

Thanks for your comments. I have looked at the suggestions you made but none of them seem to fit the bill, particularly fits the bill. My actions would hopefully triggered by me by tuning mobile services on or off. As none of the suggestions can do this they are not suitable. Thanks to your pointing me at these apps I have spotted an alternative called tasker which seems very powerful. Looks very complicated but I can but try, I might even enjoy it.
    Thanks again

Yes, Tasker does almost anything you want if you are willing to root your phone..

Using Tasker does NOT require root.
Only some of the functions that you might want to do would require root.

    Don't get the two confused.

Sorry, badly worded by me! It does almost anything with root, most things without! ^^

5.1.1 and up screwed the pooch on turning off DATA with a macro.
so don't waste your time, unless you are willing to root the phone, and then give the macro permission to switch DATA on/off.

you do NOT need to learn Tasker.

Look at MacroDroid, it can do everything you want to do and you get 5 macros free.

The pro version $9.99 USA will let you have as many macros as you want.
I am running 13 macros on my phone.

Thanks for that. It sounds like I can use Tasker for what I need. I have a phone running 4.4.4. Sometimes an advantage to not buying new so often.
You seem quite knowledgeable re Tasker. Are there any sites that allow you to download tasks other people have created. Not necessarily about mobile data, just to give me some ideas
    Thanks

I believe the only third party apps that can toggle mobile data, require root. Last I checked at least.
