    Hello,

I am looking for a camera app that can take 360 pictures like the PhotoSynth. Not just 360 panarama, but up and down too.

If not I will go with the latter too. I run KitKat on Moto G.

    Thanks,
    Eric

Thanks, but I prefer not to root my phone at this time. I do not want to void my warranty or put on a 3rd party boot loader. I will just hope it will be a option down the road.

Suit yourself, but warranty is not automatically void as a result of rooting. In the USA, we are protected under the terms of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. That said, if you do something that causes harm or impaired operation of your device that was only possible because it was rooted, then yes, your warranty likely would be void. Nothing I have suggested in my previous post falls into that category however. Also, rooting does not involve modifying or changing bootloader or ROM (unless you want to).

I can get a un-lock code for the boot loader from Motorola, but when you request the code from them online it voids the warranty, even if you do not use it. I will probably wait till next December to do so. You do have to agree to terms too.
