I've tried a few launchers, and have recently been using dodol. Kind of liked it at first, mostly because of the awesome steam punkish theme I have. But dodol isn't really performing to my satisfaction. I would like to try and keep the steam punk feel. So does anyone know of a good launcher that has a wide range of available themes?

An unrelated question that's been on my mind for a while, are there any launchers that make use of root access? That could be really interesting. Built in recycling bin, gearbox functionality, etc.

Buzz Launcher. The whole point of this launcher is to be able to create, share, and download super customized themes.

Holo Launcher HD here. I tried out Buzz Launcher... Interesting concept, but I'm not that into theming.

I switched over to smart launcher when it first came out and have never turned back. It's a great simple and clean launcher. I love the fact that you can turn widgets off completely.

Widgets were the issue I had with Smart Launcher. There are 3 that I run, which Smart Launcher wouldn't accommodate. I liked the drawer organization though.

Check out Apus launcher. You may not need a theme after you see that.

Hmmm I don't know, I just found left hand mode in smart launcher, I think it may be love! Unless you're left handed, you don't understand how frustrating it is to conform to you righty's world lmao

I'm left handed, and typically I would agree, but I use my phone right handed. :p

Lol I could say the same. Don't ever hand me a power tool unless you're prepared to spend an hour explaining what it is and how it's used. I'm a gamer. I don't do "power tools"... roflcopter

Are there any launchers that wouldn't mess up my app drawer?

Define mess up your app drawer? All launchers have their own app drawer. More appropriate maybe would be are there any launchers with the same functions as your current app drawer?

I didn't see it mentioned, but for a stock android 5.0 look I love Nova Launcher. I know it's cliché, but it really has been the best I tested (on previous phones). A lot of custom ability, function and did I mention that stock lollipop look :) Had my LS740 since June, installed it right out of the box and never had a problem or hiccup. 5/5 IMHO.

I've been using ADWLauncher since Froyo or Gingerbread (can't remember). I paid for it back then and still use it. Not sure if it makes use of root or not (I don't think it does), but it's fairly lightweight (Takes up less than 10 megs for me, but 22mb cached in running processes).

I'm a fan of Launcher Pro, which is lightweight and simple.

Just found a new launcher I thought I would mention. It's called dodol launcher and I'm liking it. It uses a bit more memory than I'd like (about 57MB ), but I don't have it locked in memory, so it's fine. Anyway, I'm using it with a lollipop theme and velur icon pack. It also has a built in RAM dump, toggle panel, and voice search. Here's a couple screenshots. The launcher I was looking for I thought I'd seen in this thread, but I can't find it now... It didn't have an app drawer, you just swipe left it show all apps. If it sounds familiar, let me know. Anyway, pics!
