My rooted Nook Simple Touch lacks an orientation sensor. I want to rotate it two ways: 1. Tap an icon on the status bar (or in notifications, but I'd prefer status bar). I don't want a menu from it, I just want it to switch between landscape and portrait immediately. 2. Run it from app drawer/home screen/etc. Again, single tap change orientation immediately. I would hook this up to a hardware button. All my searches are fruitless. Most are made to enable/disable autorotation or lock the current orientation. The closest I've come is this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.intri.autorotateswitch ...but I can't make it rotate from an icon/hardware button, and it requires extra taps to open notifications, open menu, choose orientation. Of course I'm looking for free and small. Any suggestions?
