Hey, I'm looking for a TODO app with this humble feature list:

    • Has a Windows or Web client so I can add TODOs from my desktop PC
    • Has an Android app and a Widget that can show overdue TODOs
    • Can set tasks to repeat AFTER COMPLETION

After having tested at least a dozen recommendations today, none of which had all of the above, I'm getting desperate. Am I really asking for too much ?

I find that surprising, considering Any.do doesn't appear to actually have that feature. Did I miss something ?

The Web client is a Chrome extension. The widget for me also shows the overdue to dos. And the app only repeats a task after I label it conplete. It won't show up on the list of tasks for tomorrow unless it was completed today.

Sorry, I guess you misunderstood my requirement. I want a feature like Astrid had, where the reschedule duration of a task is applied to its completion date, not its due date (so if I, say, schedule 'clean out fridge' for 6 months, and then procrastinate for four, it won't reschedule it for 2 months after I finally complete it).

I'm doing that with Google Tasks and Gtasks.... but not sure about the repeating thing.

Nope, Google Tasks doesn't support that either :(

Business Tasks (beta) allows you to specify whether you want to repeat from due date or completion date.

I haven't tried it on something that spans months, but if I hit snooze on an alert for a task, it will follow the time I mark it for completed. For example, I have an alarm for medications at 7am everyday. If I snooze it for 2hrs, and mark it done at 9am, the alarm for the next day becomes set at 9am and not 7am. It's similar to what you want though, where the duration between alerts is kept, 24hrs in this case.

Toodledo with the DTG GTD Android client is what I ended up settling on. Thank you guys for all the helpful posts.
