I'm looking to buy a Droid Eris. 1.5 is preferred but not picky, trying to keep the price reasonable.

Honestly, 175ish if at all possible, I'm just trying to find my first smartphone cheap. It might not be reasonable to everyone which is why I won't take offense if nobody wants to go that low.

Do you have an existing Verizon account or planning on gettin one?

Check Amazonwireless.com, they had the Eris last week for 1 cent. Just have to keep the phone activated for 181 days.

What is your timeframe for purchasing? I am going to be purchasing an Incredible through a family member upgrade and my Eris will be sitting around as backup. It is still 1.5. But I have to wait until a local store has an Incredible in stock...

I'm in no rush, just trying to get a feel for what people want for theirs and I guess you could say "comparison shop". Accessories are a plus though.
