mine feels a little loose, and it make a rattle sound, am i the only one with this? its like the plastic isnt tight or something, but when you press it its nice and firm to "click" up or down.

also the bottom of the screen/whole left side where the KB is kind of dips down about a hundreth or tenth of an inch wen you press something on the screen on that side, im guessing thats normal for a slider.

ditto. Mine has the exact same 2 issues I noticed in the first few minutes of using the phone.

The loose volume button was noted in every review I read before getting the droid. The phone seems to be incredibly well put together with great hardware... except the volume button. Not a big deal IMO.

And yeah, very normal to feel that in a slider, but like I said, its very well put together and this is no cause for concern.

Mine is like this too. I really don't like that.

I wonder if I can return it and get another one, before my 30 days is up. Always nice to have a brand new device again - :p

Why the hell would you do that? There is nothing wrong with the volume button. Good luck getting it replaced.

if you actually have a valid problem reps at a store will do it right away...just don't bring it in unless you really think it's broken or defective

Yeah I have had some issues with the phone lagging and it does some strange stuff where I have to reboot it a few times. I figure it's just some of the apps I installed. Once I uninstalled them, everything seemed to be working.

As some posters have discovered, the grass is not always greener with a replacement. Some have taken their phones back because of a small annoyance only to get a phone that has a major annoyance.

    Yep - ;)

I don't plan on returning it. If everyone else didn't have this issue I would.
