Root losing Root!!

You will lose root by installing any official ROM, but don't worry it won't take the Dev's very long to find a way to root again

it may do actually, htc have been notorius for making the next iterations of its software harder to crack. So there is always hte possibility that if you update then you may not ever get root back (or it may take a decent while).
