Anyone else having issues with widgets disappearing after the Froyo update? It's not that they disappear off of the home screen; but that they are just gone. For example, PDANet, it's installed and working. I used to have the widget option and had it on my screen. Now, the app is still installed, but I no longer have the option to add the widget. It's not listed in the available widgets. This has also happened with the Mint.com widget.

    What gives?

Have you tried reinstalling the widgets?

Funny things happen with apps that are not 100% compatible with 2.2

I had to reinstall Google Voice about 3 times to get the widget back and working. But then it left again...I give up.

I'm not sure if this is specifically your problem, but widgets for any application that you move to the sd card will stop working and will no longer be available for selection. This behavior is expected. Since moving applications to the sd card was introduced with froyo, you wouldn't have noticed until now. If these widgets are not part of applications that were moved to the sd card, I would do what NilsE suggested, and reinstall them.

Thanks, yeah...I set all my apps to install to the SD card now by default. I'll move those over and see if they perform better now.
