I have the Verizon Galaxy Nexus. I accidentally uninstalled the stock weather widget and want it back. I thought it was an Accuweather widget, but can't seem to find it in the market.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance.

Oops. Give power to the people, and they will find a way to abuse it :)

How exactly did you "uninstall" it? Isn't that a system level app? That would require root and a tool of some sort, right?

So, tell us how you nuked it, we'll see if we can help you get it back :)

Sadly simple. My phone developed power problems where it was turning itself off. I uninstalled most 'newer' apps to see if it solved the problem (it did). As part of that, I uninstalled the widget. Nothing magical, it was just listed in apps and had an uninstall button.

    Hmmm....

Was it the "News & Weather" app?
