I'm in Santa Rosa, about 60 miles north of SF, and my data connection is almost consistently 1X in former 3G areas. I thought it might be the TB upgrade doing bad things, but I also read that 4g is coming to "northern California" on 6/16. I can't find anything specific on cities for the 6/16 launch, but I'm wondering if this data behavior (1X in 3G areas) is a sign that they are playing in the area and that I might have 4g soon. Did anyone experience this behavior in the runup to a 4g roll out? Here's hoping!
