Love the Evo. Can't believe I put up with the Hero lag

This thing was worth the price of admission, if nothing more- because it doesn't lag like the Hero did. Yes, I know I could "root" the Hero, and supposedly take away the lag, but I don't like all the other side effects from rooting.

I think the lag on the Hero was due to it trying to change from wifi to 3G, and then it would happen while typing something as a text or email came in. The Evo is just extremely FAST, and I haven't noticed a lag.

Can't believe I put up with the lag with the Hero.

  2. I even had a rooted hero and was frustrated with the delays between opening apps and menus and i wasnt sure how quick the EVO would be. I've been blown away as well, i've installed over 40 apps, added most to the homescreens, have live wallpaper on, and there is still zero delay. its everything i hoped for and more. My one gripe is the screen resolution, i wish it was at least a little higher.
