Help low on storage bacause of "gmail storage"

I've tried searching the forums, but couldnt find this particular problem answered before...

I have been getting the "low on storage" warning on my Droid recently, and when i go to manage applications, it says that Gmail Storage is taking up 153mb!!! Is that an unusually large amount? How can i decrease that or move it to my sd card?

TLDR:

menu > settings > manage applications

If you haven't changed your filter for All apps....(gmail won't show if you haven't)

menu > filter > all

Scroll in the list and find Gmail and Gmail Storage

Clear the data/cache of which ever one is using up the most space.

You may want to reboot after.
