Low Ringer Volume

I have a LG Stylo 2 plus and I didnt notice in the first week but the ringer volume is sorta low when on max setting. I notice the ring volume comes out of the earpiece which is not good when your phone is buried in your pocket. I find it odd the speaker near the bottom doesn't ring at all.
I looked into all those gimmicky volume boost apps but none of them do anything. I'm also not very tech savy to try rooting. So other then getting another device is there any type of fix?

Both of the stylos we have are annoyingly loud. If your having volume problems it must be your device. It would be a good thing to have it checked by LG under warranty or attempt an exchange with your carrier.
