While useing the phone while its was charging in the past 2 days, I received 2 low voltage shocks to my lower part of my hand
Even though I love this phone this problem can get only worse
So I'm going to exchange it friday for a new one
Any won else get this wake up call?

I'm curious if you are touching the charging pins on the side of the phone. Someone on Android Central had that happen to them.

I had the same experience with the first Galaxy Nexus I purchased from Verizon - to the extent where the screen atcually shorted out(!). Since I typically hold the phone in my left hand when using it, it's almost impossible to avoid touching the metal contacts on the right side with your fingertips.

Bottom line: I reutrned the defective unit to Verizon and they exchanged it for a new one without any hassles. Of course, they can't seem to straighten out the SIM card issues I'm having, but that's another story for another post... Yeesh.

Making me wish I had waited before dumping my Droid X!
