Help Low volume issues?

Anyone having issues with the volume? Netflix is barely hearable while turned up all the way, some other media is louder,as expected, but its all way to low, my evo is louder than this thing. I installed volume+ on it which helped, but I want to know if its a hardware issue. I realize its only 200 bucks, but being marketed as a media device I would expect the sound to be good on it. Anyway, should I return it or not? thanks
