Those of you that have an LTE phone, this one is for you. Im in los angeles with sprint and my 4g coverage is OK. But I will be moving to Monterey for 5 years and Verizon just flipped the switch for LTE up there. My plans are cheaper on sprint but is LTE worth paying the extra money for? My wife has an Iphone on Verizon so I would make a family plan and take her unlimited data.
I know LTE is fast and all but will it be reliable especially in a new market? does LTE make a huge difference to those of you that have it?
    Thanks Peeps

I don't have a 4G device, but I've read a lot of professional reviews and test results.
If you use the carrier's network more than wifi I would say it's definitely worth the switch.

I use wifi a lot more but when I'm away from it I still want to be able to stream video at a nice rate. But I'm not away from my wifi that often.

It depends on how much OTA data you use/ need. With 4G LTE, you'll get much faster download and upload speeds on Verizon than on Sprint and it's worth it to switch. If you don't or just use WiFi allot, then You may be best off sticking with Sprint.

I am a road warrior. I use LTE all the time on through the Samsung LTE MiFi.

It is awesome. I have great service, great speed.

I can live all day connected to a virtual desktop through the Verizon 4G LTE connection, same cannot be said on the Verizon 3G connection, or on my old Sprint 3G mifi.

If you are on the road the Verizon 4G LTE is pretty impressive and a must have imo.

Thanks. I'm leaning towards big v. We pay more money having two separate providers anyway. Now here's hoping the bionic is alegit as its supposed to be.

Im not 100% sure but you might want to check with Verizon first because you might lose unlimited data if you do that.

I heard from a Rep that the primary line will keep it. This was a bestbuy associate tho. What do you think?

i had the Droid Charge 4g LTE and it was a battery hog. I rolled back to a 3g because i seriously couldn't deal with the unstable switching when i drive thru a 4g area into a 3g.. phone would die.

Up to you but I am going to wait until they get the kinks worked out.
