I gave this a go, and went into a bit of a panic, as it wipes off CWM recovery for its own (naff) android recovery which is extremely basic compared to CWM.

I had a play with it and didnt find it to be a keeper for me, so thought I would put Siyah 2.2 Beta6 back on, and couldnt through its android recovery system, as it would say "signature failed"

So, I had to download a Siyah .tar file and flash it via Odin.

Thankfully, the Siyah .tar worked perfectly through Odin, and now I am back to safe ground again. PHEW!

It is at times like this that you realize just how good, and how much you rely on CWM Recovery. It truly is a Godsend.

    Amen to that hawker!

It's saved my Gluteus maximus a few times.

With the latest Siyah beta 16 not helping me too much, I've been looking around for a different kernel.

I must say that lulz was on top of my list... think I'll do a swerve on it now. :D

these were exactly my reasons, so i thought I'd give it a go.
I would catch 2 trains AND a bus to swerve this one butty.
its got a horrible boot screen, showing linux commands mounting points etc, and the android recovery is a million times inferior to CWM.

Siyah beta6 with CWM5 it is all the way for me
