    Hi all,
today my galaxy s2 started to take pictures with a magenta circle in the middle, particularly evident like in the attached photo. I didn't found other documentation about it. What kind of problem might it be? The lens is clean, and before today the pictures were ok...
should I bring it to service?
    thanks,
    bye, dario

Yeah, it`s an known problem it`s called "pink spot" , it is seen in low light conditions when you point the camera at white objects it affects the video as well , there are camera firmware updates that reduce the affect but not eliminate it, supposedly most high end camera have this problem even the iphone i have heard, it`s a shame for such a nice camera :(

Ahh yes, with "pink spot" now I see a lot of documentation.
    Thank you very much.
But it is a shame really... Not even buying one of the top smartphones on the market you get things just working.. not asking more actually.

I'd take it back, as I don't have this problem, and I have a very keen eye and am very very picky with my phones and cameras.

Then I might ask for a replacement later when they start shipping the nfc enabled version :)
