Hi everyone. I finally got my S7 yesterday, and I am SOOOO happy I did. I am really enjoying it.
I have a question about magnets. I have been using the Steelie Ball Magnetic mount on my S5, and was about to attach it to the Ballistic case on my S7. When I went to position it, I noticed that it was sticking to the back of the phone, even with the case on. I am wondering if that is going to be a problem for the phone? I quickly got the magnetic disk away from my phone, but I am wondering if it is safe to use it as I did with my S5. It is so convenient because it not only works with the ball mount, it also will hang in all of my equipment, even with out the Steelie ball mount.

    Thoughts?

None off the earlier phones have had any published problems with the magnetic mounts. No guarantees, but highly unlikely that the S7 will have issues. Keep in mind that the magnetic mount will interfere with the placement on charging pads and possibly affect their operation. Could also throw off your GPS and any apps that depend on the GPS.

I would keep magnets away from my phone, just my opinion...
