mail doesn't work over wifi??? But fine over 3g

yahoo mail works fine over 3G, but not over wifi. on wifi i get a connection error message. very strange. Anyone have any idea's?

I do not have the Yahoo Plus account and I am not even able to set it up anymore. I tried with and without wifi.

mine works fine without a yahoo plus account over the 3g network
