Morning all,
the good lady's cousin popped up last night with her daughters phone, she dropped it and smashed the screen a few months back and have only now got a replacement,
the main lcd was working fine, took phone apart, Carefully removed the lcd and replaced the touch screen, put it all back together carefully putting the ribbons back in etc. but on powering up the main lcd didnt display anyhting, the lower lights for the 4 touch buttons ont he bottom of the screen lit up and phone made the turnign on noises but no display,
popped it apart again and checked the ribob cables were all tight and flipped the white ribbon locking clip as it had pinged off to check it was in securely but had the same,
Looks like the screen lights a slightly lighter black but no other display.
any thoughts?? is it terminal??
