Im not sure what to make of this thread. Lol
It should be under sports.
Is she a super model or something?
(steven shakes his heads.. whispers "morons" under his breath and says, "whatever, move this where ever you want)
Edit for the ignorant and those hidden under a rock: Mariano became the all-time saves leader today. Additionally, he is arguably one of the greatest pitchers of all time.
Well of course I knew that!
*ponders at what a pitcher could be*
I give up.
Not arguably. He is the greatest relief pitcher of all-time.
What sport are we talking about?
Something about "great pitchers."
That's one great pitcher!
I don't think so.
This i can agree with (once you throw in the word steven left out)
Well, either way.. the statement is still true - I just added relief because that's what he is and always has been.
By the way, it's MARIANO Rivera.. not Mairiano
maybe we are talking about different people?? lol
One of the most feared pitchers was the Yankees Ryne Duren. He could throw the ball through a brick wall if he could SEE it. (He wore glasses)
Yankees also had the Goose. One of the first with a 90+ mph fast ball.
He'd dare batters to hit it.
Oakland had Rollie Fingers.
Pitcher sounds like a baseball thing. Baseball is predominantly an American thing. Does this mean if I am not American, I am ignorant?
I also don't like most sports, particularly ball sports. Does this mean I live under a rock?
Also, why is it called the "world" series?
Although, it is predominantly played in the States, it is very popular in many other nations around the world. AFAIK, "World Series" has no actual meaning. Way back when America (19th century shiznit) was the place to be, they called it the World's Series for unknown reasons and the MLB never decided to change it.
Yep, Japan its popular. Not in the UK though, Where I am
No, VS, he's definitely the greatest relief pitcher of all time, but he's arguably one of the greatest pitchers of all time. That's what sports writers are talking about. He's a living sports legend in our day. Exciting stuff.
Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Canada, All over South America, Mexico, Australia, etc..
Those are all popular places where baseball is played. People in the UK play sports besides soccer? Lol.
