Okay so I have no idea what happened to my phone...

My Volt just got a blank screen and when it shutdown it got stuck in a bootloop...I thought everything was fine until I went to flash the stock v3 firmware with the LG Flash Tool...In which I was stuck on the screen

Press the volume up key until you see the download screen.

It won't go past this at all...It's not being recognized AT ALL by my computer

Here's some thing I did BEFORE this all started happening

--I flashed the stock firmware to get back my LTE
--I booted up
--It activated and did a PRL upgrade
--It took forever to do a Firmware update so I cancelled it

This is where the problem occurs...It was on "Please wait while cancelling" until the screen went black...I pressed a few buttons, nothing happened so I held the power button down until it did a reboot...It got stuck on the "LG Life Good" logo and would not go past this

I can't even get to download mode and I think I just majorly screwed up my phone....And I have no idea how...I just flashed the stock firmware...

Anyways, here are some steps that I've tried to solve this

-Removed the battery for a minute and placed it back in
-Doing a factory reset from recovery
-Wiping /cache

Non of these worked and I cannot seem to get past the boot logo
Someone please help! Please note I am also on stock recovery so I cannot flash anything....

Was it rooted? Can you access ADB?

If adb can recognize your volt download custom recovery name it recovery.img and from Android SDK or wherever your ADB is open the command prompt and type "adb reboot bootloader" and then after it gets into dl mode(if it does) go to the command prompt and type "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img". Then from your custom recovery flash a new rom/reflash stock.

Also a few things to know/try before responding with "I already said the computer doesn't recognize it"
-Some USB cords WILL not function for ADB and you device will not be recognized by computer at all so try a few(usually the one that came with the phone NEW will work best but sometimes even those don't)
-Some people have trouble getting ADB to function through one or more of their USB ports(Such as USB 3.0 vs 2.0 sometimes) so try different ports
-try reinstalling the usb drivers(multiple times between ports if thats what it takes)
-try simply uninstalling the drivers and let them install themselves
-If none of the above work and you are using windows or mac os then download a copy of linux(such as ubuntu) and boot into linux via a cd/flashdrive/external hd and use the terminal there. I have had to use linux to establish an adb connection atleast once when i experienced a similar brick.

BEFORE ALL OF THIS TRY GETTING INTO SAFE MODE
by:
1. Remove the battery from the LG Volt.
2. Re-insert the battery.
3. Press and hold the Power key.
4. When you see the LG Volt screen, release the Power key. Immediately after releasing the Power key, press and hold the Volume down key.
5. Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.
6. ‘Safe mode’ displays in the lower-left corner. Release the Volume down key when you see ‘Safe Mode.

if not proceed with the steps above

I've tried the steps above and nothing worked. I've always had a problem with the drivers and adb not recognizing sideload or even adb itself while in recovery. I had already tried what you suggested; using adb, however the device was not recognized...After a bit of toying I found that it was the CHARGER_ONS not being found or something was up with it. How did I know this; because the screen would freeze on the battery and I'd have to pull the battery to get it to go away. Long story short I left the device plugged in while it was stuck on

and in the morning I was in DL Mode with no problems flashing. Strange though, I'd still like to know how this happened
