Help major home screen lag

after i get done doing something on my phone and go back to the home screen, it takes at least 2min to load back up... all the buttons are missing, i click the home button menu and all those icons are missing... it really didnt start doing till the last major update. anything i can do to fix this?

Sounds like you need to root your phone and enjoy the benefits of overclocking your processor....
