    Calendar is JB_Calendar_V100R001...........

Can successfully shake the phone to silence incoming phone calls (because the screen opens up, with buttons that can be clicked, etc.) With a calendar notification, I only get sound. I cannot find a way to make the screen "come alive" so that I can silence the notification sound. (It is more than 1 minute of music, to make sure I hear it.)

I have tried setting the accelerometer to stay on while Display Off, but it doesn't help.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps you can make the screen come alive by intercepting the calendar event?

Use the event below as the profile trigger, and then wake your screen:

    Event: Intent Received [ Action:android.intent.action.EVENT_REMINDER Cat:None Cat:None Scheme:content Mime Type:* ]

Thanks. By looking around PROPERLY, I found Secure Settings -> Action: Wake Device -> Screen & Keyboard Lights On. I trigger this with Event -> Notification Calendar. This wakes the phone up just grand. It even has a timeout.
