Making optional Google synchronization

Hello,

While I understand it is convenient to be able to sync data with internet servers for access from anywhere, there are people who don't really need or do not want to share their data (contacts, calendar, settings, etc).

Is there a way to disable or remove the option, but allow applications to work.

ie.
- Vonage mobile app will not work without a Google account
- the default calendar does not work without a Google account

In summary. Most applications won't work without a Google account

I'll appreciate your comments.

Yes it does.

And you dont have to have everything syncing. Go to menu-settings-accounts and sync, and turn off syncing for the google account. Problem solved.
