making things bigger

Hi, hope someone can help, I have an HTC Desire S phone and I need to know if there is an app I can download to make things bigger on the screen, my eyesight is not as good as it used to be.

There's something in your phone's settings that might work for you (haven't tried it myself, though):

menu -> Settings -> Accessibility -> Accessibility checkbox and the Zoom Mode checkbox

Not sure if that's the ticket, though, since I found it in this thread:

But it does discuss a few other options, too.

Unfortunately, I searched the Android Market and I don't see anything obvious that actually magnify's the screen (there's apps that will magnify things through the camera, but that's not what you need).
