I've tried it, and it seems MUCH MUCH quicker
Thnx its deff faster good find
First time ever on this device, my market automatically updated itself (to 3.1.5)
confirming, its much quicker! well done mate, thx for finding this update
Yes, double check your version first, mine updated on its own too.
Also, i don't know about the rest of the world, but in Canada
you can now rent movies
not really...i find it actually slower
or is it just the first time cacheing taking place
Installed it before I went away for a few days and I must say that it does seem much faster than the old, new, Market.
Over Wi-Fi I'm opening it, after a reboot, in about 3-7 seconds and "My Apps" show after about 3 seconds once selected.
Am running it with XXKI3, as per my details on the left.
I've updated to the new firmware 2.3.5, and all seems fine except I can't get my emails to sync properly. I can log in to my hotmail account, but it displays everything as 'unread'. It's as if I can't select the 'pop/imap' option. It no longer says this when setting up the account, instead it just says 'premium' account, which I figured was the same.
Has anyone else encountered this issue or has an idea of how to solve it?
Same here ironass even tweaked my router and wireless setup and everything is running ultra smooth and fast
+ same here, fast on wifi, fast on 3g... no problems at all
Forgot to say about 3G, used it all the time whilst away. Much better!
Sweeet Well I'm off for my tea and may watch Shallow Grave
Latest update is rubbish for me. App is VERY slow, downloads get "stuck" and don't complete, can't get to the My Apps screen, nope, give me the old version thanks.
Have major issues trying to download anything on my new piece of Junk Droid X2. Not sure if it is the phone or the market but I have to restart phone multiple times and sometimes still just get blue bar saying downloading.
Oh my god the 5th restart the file finally started to download. Yeah
still find new market very unpredictable - sometimes works well, sometimes not
