Do I have to install market apps 1 by 1 every time I flash a ROM? I rooted to Sapphire 0.7.0 a couple of days ago and had to install market apps 1 by 1. Is there a way t back just those apps up and somehow restore them after flashing a ROM? Thanks

I use titanium backup for backing up and restoring my apps. The donate version allows batch restores.

Some others use MyBackupPro which also does a good job by their accounts

Also, if you're going to a 2.2 ROM, many of your Market apps will automatically download and re-install. Then you can just use Titanium's "Resore missing apps + all system data" to get back anything the Market missed plus your call logs, SMS messages and settings.

I just rooted my Eris to PlainJaneT2 V2 and all of my apps are gone :-(. So my question is:

Do you use Titanium Backup before you root or after?

Thanks!

On the subject of missing apps..... I noticed since i rooted that some of the apps that i had prior to root ar not in the market anymore? I thought i saw a thread about this but i have searched and cannot find it. ANY IDEAS WHERE THE PHANTOM APPS MAY HAVE GONE...

NOTE: FOOLISHLY I DID NOT BACK UP MY APPS PRIOR TO ROOT BUT THEY ARE NOW..

I AM A NOOB
