This will revert your build fingerprint (its safe and pre-tested by me) so that they show up again.


Install it like any update.zip type install. Backup to be safe, and yes, you must be rooted.

By the way, this fix may not be instant. It could take up to a few hours to take effect. I believe it has to do with the frequency that your gmail account syncs with the market.

It was instant for me however. On past phones, it has not been.

For me it was Nexusmod 2.0 and Asphalt HD.

For another it was Tapatalk Pro, and Windfinder Pro.

There is no way to install it unless you are rooted, correct.

hrm, sounds like a doucble edged sword i love the update, but now I can't install some apps. Although I have found a bunch of apk's on the intrawebz so it isn't like I CANT get them whatsoever. I'm just too much of a ***** to root my phone.

Understandable. As long as the fingerprint doesn't change in the final ota, this is temporary and eventually will resolve itself.

Didn't seem to work with mine for some reason. I lost Taptalk, and it still doesn't come up as purchased after installing this.

So this is just a change to the build.prop file correct? Can I just mount in clockwork recovery and replace it?

Isn't working for me. I installed it and it said it was installed. I then went and downloaded a random app but still not showing slingbox or wunderradio.

Adrenylene, can you give a step by step of istalling the market fix with root? i installed it from SD Card but all I get is the HTC - Quietly Brilliant screen repeatig over and over!
