I've had my phone for about a month now and have found an app I'm interested in buying from the market. How secure is my info if I submit it thru my phone? Or would it be wiser to submit it from my desktop? Anyone ever had any security issues either way?

It syncs with your google account, it is as secure as using other methods of online transactions. If you are really worried make sure you are on either your mobile data connection or a secure wifi connection not a public wifi connection when you make the transaction.

Your payment info isn't entered via the Market. The Market will use whatever you have setup with Google Checkout. It's as secure as Google Checkout is.

i think a lot of us.. have had these reservations at the beginning... it is a new way to purchase stuff. i had these feelings too and got over it.

it is very secure.. and safe.. more safe than many other situations.

ex: at a restaurant you had your credit card to a complete stranger working for less than minimum wage. but you do it.. without a second thought.

everything has risk.. some more than others. this is a very low risk.

Make sure internet access is secured. Besides whenever desktop is available, its much easier to browse the market for useful apps.
