Marketplace download error

    Hello, first post so hopefully It's in the right place!

    So, a couple of weeks ago I found I could not update or download any apps, resulting in a "download was unsucessful please try again message."
    So after some searching I found that clearing the cache of the market app and clearing data of google apps, talk and checkin service was supposed to help, which, unfortunately, did not.
    So does anyone have any other suggestions I could try?

    If you are accessing via wifi, try toggling wifi off and then on again. That is the workaround for wifi-only tablets that experience this problem (happening since the last Market update). Honestly, I have not heard of this being an issue except for tablets, but you have nothing to lose by trying it.

    You could try rebooting after clearing market cache. I tried that when I had a market problem and it worked, even if just clearing market alone does not.

    I was using wifi so tried turning it off and on again, nope.
    Tried using mobile internet, nope.
    Tried rebooting after clearing market and the google stuff, nope.
    Tried uninstalling the market updates in the hope that when it updated it might sort something, however I'm now stuck on the old version of the market!!

    Market will update itself after a while.
