So here is the update T-Mobile is pushing the update out now between March 7 - 21 but this doesn't include the MetroPCS version and time will only tell when you can update that phone. Official Source

So if you've got your update please let us know what version phone you have (TMoblie or MetroPCS

I've tried with the LG Bridge but no update has been issued yet for my MetroPCS phone.

well the hardware is the same. The Software/bloat isn't.

I know. But this time the update is only listed for the Tmo version. In the past Both would have the update listed. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully GT will work his magic like he did before. I've used the Tmo versions on my Stylo in the past so it would probably still work.

That's why I say it'll get the update because the only difference is software by a few things. So I wouldn't sweat it.

Or the easiest way is someone gets the update has twrp and makes a custom twrp backup for us to restore. Then they could take out the modem, bootloader etc to allow it to boot on the other 2 Stylo models.

GT did it in the past. Hopefully he'll come back for the update.

Updated the main post the opensource.lge.com website now lists the new update this time it ends with a (B) instead of the (A) so who's ready for marshmallow? Unless they find something else wrong with it.

Tmos update page still says the Stylo isn't even in testing yet. But it's there, so the update is definitely happening sooner or later without question.

I have the family mobile t-mobile version running 5.1.1 unrooted and have a system update pending. How do I know if it's the marshmallow update or not?

Im syncing 6.0 source now and I'll try to merge the marshmallow source in with it. And yes. If T-Mobile does release the update, metro users can also flash or dd the system and kernel.

To pull the system.img and boot.img, open a terminal on the device or adb shell and run the following commands...

1. su
2. dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/system of=/sdcard/system.img
3. dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/boot of=/sdcard/boot.img

Please post the system.img and boot.img
