    I own a brandnew optimus2x.
When i put some music or video on the internal er external SD card and start the default gallery app or the default music player there isn't listing any content.
I put the content in the root and in a (sub)folder.
I tried a factory reset and tried it without the external SD card.
I installed a file browser and see all the files. I can run the files started within the file browser and they play.
I'm getting crazy, what am I doing wrong????

You didn't have a .nomedia file along with them be accident did you? That hides things from the gallery.

No there isn't a .nomedia file By the way I formatted the sd cards (internal and external).
I went today to a service point and they also haven't a solution.
Now i'm waiting for a call back from the VIP service within 24 hours.
