    no not to my knowledge,
why do u want/need to do this?
If its for privacy you could always hide the Folder your 'private' files are in, and view them in a file manager, such as astro
ASTRO File Manager ~ Android Application v2.5.2 By Metago | Productivity
to hide a folder simply rename it in astro and add a . at the start
    eg

    a Folder called Private
would become .Private if you wanted to hide it.

I have been using MediaScape religiously since Aug and I can confirm WYNNEY666's statement, "no not to my knowledge", +1. Your only other option, if it is that big of an issue, is to download an app from the Market to play your music through, there by eliminating MediaScape from the picture. I personally feel MediaScape is one of the X10's biggest favorites! I use it constantly and swear by it.. But everyne has their own reason and wants and desires. Welcome to the world of Android!

    Good luck!
