memory card issues

has anyone had memory card un expected removal pop ups on samsung galaxy s4. i get it quite frequent. and can anyone tell me if memory card should show up at top of the screen to say its been inserted, thank you

Hi

I sounds like a dodgy connection with your sd card.

If reconnected it is normal to have a card icon appear in the top bar for several seconds until the phone has re read the card. (As it will if you reboot the phone)

Take the card out (after unmounting it)and clean the contacts. Check the slot in the phone as best you can.
