Memory Cards & Playing .3GP Videos

    Right sorry for the odd title but it's better than starting 2 threads.

    Firstly now I have Froyo I need a bigger card. Can anyone recommend me a good one? I don't want a massive card (32GB) because I'd rather lose less than more if something goes wrong with it.

    Also I need something that will play .3GP videos. VLC always asks for the AMR sound codec which I can't find. Tried installing ffdShow but that didn't work. Any ideas?

    SanDisk has good SD cards. I use class 6.

    .3GP format plays the Desire stock player.
    I use the RockPlayer. Has many video formats and a browser.

    I'm guessing you mean you want to play the .3GP files on your PC, rather than on the Desire?

    After installing ffdshow, have you enabled the relevant bits, as it says here: Codecs.com :: Guides : An easy way to play 3GP files ?
