I found this while looking for a battery: Verizon HTC Droid Eris 1 Gigabyte Memory Card

Would that be an upgrade? I am new to these phones. Is extra memory the same advantage it is on my computer? Thanks.

Don't get that, you already have a 8GB SD card installed in your phone.

I thought it was an internal memory upgrade.

The internal memory is soldered to the motherboard on the phone. You can't upgrade it.
