Use WiFi rather than mobile data. Don't turn your screen brightness up to blinding levels. Check what apps are using your battery and find less thirsty alternatives. Limit background data usage for apps. Get rid of any task killers/RAM mangers/battery optimiser apps you have installed (they are worse than useless for this).

And make sure you have good coverage in the places you spend most time, since poor signal drains battery quickly. Change network if necessary.
