For many reasons, none of which are remembered if truth be told, I have now 5 calendars on my S3.

I only want 1 so how do I merge all the data from them into just one, as I cannot afford to lose any data, preferably one that i can then sync back to google.

I've read through many posts but I'm jiggered if I can find an answer. Happy to read more if i've missed something.

Just fyi, the "my calendar" is an offline calendar that doesn't sync wirelessly. If you're merging, use the Google calendar to merge into

John. Unfortunately that's unsuitable. Its more for Outlook.

SURoot. Thank you for that. I know this is going to sound so naff, but how? I genuinely cant find how to do it!

Now you'll point me to page 1 of the manual I bet! :(

I'd deal with this on your computer rather than your phone. If you look at your calendars in a web browser, you can click on the small down-arrow next to the list of your calendars. This will allow you to go into Settings, where you can export the individual calendars which you wish to merge into your main one. When you subsequently choose to import the calendars you've just exported, you can select which calendar the events you are importing should be placed in. I'd strongly suggest you back everything up before you do this, just in case.

For myself, however, I like having separate calendars for such things as clubs I belong to, the Formula One calendar I have subscribed to, and so on. This has two benefits. Firstly, I have each assigned a separate colour, which makes it easy to quickly find events. Secondly, I have one screen on my phone dedicated to an agenda widget, and I can select which calendars I want shown there. These are a subset of my calendars, excluding those which I want to keep track of, but don't need to see on a daily basis.

I have just tested it myself on the calendars on my personal Google accounts and it does work. I transferred one of my Google calendars into another Google calendar. The link is specifically describing how to copy or move all events from one google calendar to another, not outlook.

As john_g says much easier to undertake this on your computer :)

Ok I've not made myself very clear. I apologise.

I've a number of cals on my S3 (these are teh ones i want to merge). I am unable to see any of them on Google Calendars. I can't back them up with keis as kies doesn't now work with my phone.

This was why I was asking 'how' using just the phone. Hope its a bit clearer now.
